Such A Beautiful Day (Skittles)

[Royal]

Just outside the city of Sieg Town, Jess and Zubat had stopped by a large lake, beautiful crystal water flowing down from a waterfall at the top. A small wooden table was by the side and Jess laid her backpack down ontop.

"Phew," she whispered as she sat down on the bench. Zubat laid down on top of the table, screeching to Jess as it lay on its body, sunbathing.

Jess laughed. "I can't believe you like the sun but most Zubats don't." Zubat gave a squeak. "Anyway, we should let everyone out of their Pokeballs." As she spoke, Jess got up from her seat and threw up all other twelve Pokeballs on her belt. Quickly, her Pokemon materialized into Miltank, Venusaur, Raticate, Pidgeotto, Butterfree, Beedrill, Nidorina, Magmar, Gyarados, Dratini, Wartortle, and Haunter. Jess's water Pokemon went over to the lake and swam around while Jess's other Pokemon either played or rested on the ground.

Jess looked over at her Gyarados, who, unlike its brothren, had bright red scales. Wartortle was having fun climbing up his back and sliding down it like a waterslide. Jess smiled, knowing that this was typical of Wartortle since it was still a child.

Butterfree and Beedrill flew around Venusaur who slept in the sun. Magmar, Jess's only fire Pokemon was laying on its stomach under a tree nearby. Jess's Haunter was having fun talking with Raticate and Pidgeotto.

"Zubat, you go play with the others, I'll get lunch ready." Jess said with a smile. With a squeak, Zubat flew off the table as Jess prepared the small stove and food. Jess's Miltank had moved over to help her.

Taking in a deep breath, the girl brushed back dark gray almost black hair. Looking around with gray eyes, the girl walked on, closing her eyes for a second before opening them again, at the feel of a nudge to her arm. Looking down a the Ponyta next to her, its blue fiery mane, blew with the wind. The Ponyta, which she named Skittles, was a gift from her father to her at a young age. It was the only pokemon, besides her Cubone that she would let wander around with her.

Skittles once more pulled at the red sleeve on her arm, which caused for the girl to smile. Pulling her arm away, which caused for the Ponyta to playfully nip at her pants. "Skittles, stop it." The girl said softly, but playfully swatted at the Ponyta's fiery mane.

Her attention was caught by the sound of pokemon, and then a girls voice. Raising her head up, Skittles and Visda, that was her name, walked towards the sounds. Stopping when she saw a group of pokemon playing, and then a girl who looked to be setting up something.

Reaching out a hand she stopped Skittles from going any farther than what she was already. "Stay..." She hissed out softly.

[Royal]

"Guys, lunch is almost ready!" Jess said to the ground. She expected to hear a bunch of excited cries but all she heard was murmured silence. Turning her head, Jess caught side of a blackish-gray haired girl. Everyone was moving toward her in hostility.

"Guys, stop." she snapped. Almost immediately, her Pokemon cooled and move back to what they doing, but their eyes never left the trainer.

Jess put her cooking utensils down and moved over the girl. Wartortle, her second youngest Pokemon jumped underwater to hid. Zubat had flew over to attach itself to Jess's head and Miltank walked alongside Jess.

"Hi, can I help you?" Jess asked the trainer. "My name's Jess."

[Skittles]

"We should have went on our way...don't you think so Skittles?" Visda whispered to her companion, who just nodded her head the blue fire for her mane and tail flickering in the slight wind.

Looking up as the girl walked towards her, Skittles stepped inbetween so that the other girl did not get any closer than what she was. 'Jess, that is a different name.'

"My name is Visda, sorry we were just passing through." Visda stated looking down at Skittles.

"My name is Visda, sorry we were just passing through." Visda explained.

Jess smiled. "Oh, no worries!" she said. She looked down at the Ponyta and smiled. "My, what a beautiful Pokemon! A shiny Ponyta?" she asked, looking back up at Visda.

"Anyway, I was just to have lunch and I have plenty. Would you like some?" Jess asked.

[Skittles]

Skittle's stance lessen to a more relaxed pose, hearing the praise, she believed the human was not all that bad. "Yes, she was a gift from my father, before I started my pokemon journay." Visda said, smiling down at Skittle, who rubbed its head slightly against her pants, before walking up to the other girl.

"That is very kindo f you. but I relaly don't me to intrude." she then said, giving Jess a soft smile before it faded. this was the most words she said to someone, without them being anger for being mean to their pkemon.

She then watched Skittles, sniff at the Miltank, curiousity in her gaze. Due to she had never seen a pokemon like it before.

[Royal]

"That is very kind of you. but I really don't mean to intrude."

Jess put her hands up and scooped Zubat off her head. "Oh, it's alright. Trust me." Jess turned around and called over her Butterfree and Butterfree. Butterfree fluttered above her head and Beedrill clung to her head.

She waited for Visda to walk up and she looked down at Skittles, her shiny Ponyta, who was sniffing Miltank.

"Oh yeah, that's Miltank. We've been friends ever since I started my journey. She hardly ever leaves my side. None of my Pokemon want to." Jess looked at Butterfree. "Butterfree, can you take Zubat and collect some berries please?"

Butterfree nodded happily and flew off with Zubat.

Jess turned back to Visda. "You can let your Pokemon out if you want."

[Skittles]

Visda gave off another smile as she watched the Butterfree, Beedrill, and Zubat fly off. Looking once more at Skittles who sneezed light, and looked up at Jess. "What was always a curious one, even as a youngling." She said with a soft smile at Ponyta, before grabbing her pokeballs.

Letting out Wartortle, Arcanine, Cubone, and Glaceon, debating over letting out Houndoom or not. It was not that she did not trust him, she just did not want him to cause some trouble. Giving in, she let Houndoom out, who for some reason, stuck close to her.

"This is my gang, besides Skittles, thats War, Arcee, Cu, and Glace." Visda said. "And this guy is Houndoom, he has yet to recieve a nickname."

[Royal]

(By the way, isn't Visda supposed to have a Staravia?)

Jess smiled and nodded to Visda. "I have a Wartortle too. She's playing in the lake." She motioned with her head to the lake. Gyarados was looking down at the water, where a tiny blue head with fluffy ears had poked up and looked at the strangers.

"My Pokemon here are Miltank, Venusaur, Raticate, Pidgeotto, Butterfree, Beedrill, Nidorina, Magmar, Gyarados, Dratini, Wartortle, Haunter, and Zubat." Jess said in one breath. "More of my Pokemon are at my parents' gym in Viridian City."

"All these Pokemon were captured by me, well, except for Beedrill..." Jess said. "A few years ago, a trainer called Selena released him thinking he was too weak for her team and he joined my team."

[Skittles]

((Dang it yes yes, She will remember Staravia in a moment))

As she listened, the Viridian City caught her attention. "Really now, when I was younger, I went through that town, it must have been your father I beat for this Gym Badge." Pulling out a case of all the Gym Badges from every Region were in it.

Her attention was also brought back to the fact she did have one more pokemon. Pulling out the pokeball, she had almost forgot. "I almost forgot about this little guy." She then said as Staravia appeared, and quickly went to hide. "That is so odd, because Staravia use to be Selena's as well. Realeased him as well just because he was weaker than the others."

Reaching out a hand she lightly patted Staravia's head. Watching as Wartortle dove into the water, while Arcanine, and even Houndoom sat under a tree. While Glaceon who dragged Cubone with her to see the other pokemon.

[Royal]

"I almost forgot about this little guy." She then said as Staravia appeared, and quickly went to hide. "That is so odd, because Staravia use to be Selena's as well. Realeased him as well just because he was weaker than the others."

Jess nodded. "Yeah, Selena only cares about strong Pokemon. She doesn't take weak ones lightly. She is a strong trainer and that is why."

"Magmar, can you come over here please?" Jess asked her fire Pokemon. Sighing, her fire Pokemon got up from where it was laying and over to Jess. Jess had a small bucket over a bunch of logs. "Magmar, use a small Flamethrower and just get the fire going."

Magmar snorted before blasting a small flame onto the logs. Blue, red, and yellow fire enveloped the logs and heated the bucket.

"Thanks Magmar," Jess smiled to her Pokemon as it returned to its spot under the tree where Visda's Arcanine and Houndoom laid.

Just even thinking about Selena made Visda's blood boil, but she was not going to let her anger get the best of her right now. Reaching down she lightly ran her hand over the top of Staravia's head, giving him a soft smile before returningher attention to Jess.

"Must be something to have all these pokemon around you." Visda said, before looking at the original six that she had, and then down at Staravia. She would probably never be able to handle so many pokemon at once. Mna, she was lucky to be able to handle all of these ones with the way Houndoom was.

A smile graced her lips again as she watched Staravia finally move out from behind her, and head towards the other pokemon. Once spotted by Skittles who quickly went over to talk to the frighten pokemon.

[Royal]

"Must be something to have all these pokemon around you." Visda spoke.

Jess nodded, glancing back to her. "Yeah, but it's hard work. Training all of them is one thing but parting with them is another. Most of my Pokemon chose to accompany me on my journey. If they didn't, I released them thinking it would be better for them."

Jess looked over at Staravia. "It's a shame that Selena doesn't care much about her Pokemon." she sighed. Then she turned her attention back to Visda. "Visda, I would watch out for your Staravia. It may be frightened but it grew up in Selena's team. It might know some incredible moves and might get the attitude that Selena wanted from it."

[Skittles]

Looking over at Jess, she nodded her head. It would be a good idea to watch out for Staravia, and right now she was happy that he was at least meeting some of the other pokemon, with Glace, and Skittles help.

Taking in a deep breath, Visda tilted her head. "I'll be sure to watch Staravia, right now I just want him to get use to be treated well." She hated any trainer that miss treated their pokemon.

"It just irks me that she would treat them like this." Visda then said witha soft sigh.

[Royal]

"It just irks me that she would treat them like this." Visda whispered.

"Yes, I agree, but there's nothing we can do to change her attitude." Jess pointed out. "Anyway -"

"TURTWIG!" Jess turned her head as a small, brown and green Pokemon jumped out from the trees. Magmar, Houndoom, and Arcanine had looked up and everyone had turned their heads toward the Pokemon. It suddenly collided with Jess, knocking her backwards over the table.

"Umph!" Jess cried. All her Pokemon got to their feet and hissed angrily.

This isn't good...
