Taking in a deep breath, the girl brushed back dark gray almost black hair. Looking around with gray eyes, the girl walked on, closing her eyes for a second before opening them again, at the feel of a nudge to her arm. Looking down a the Ponyta next to her, its blue fiery mane, blew with the wind. The Ponyta, which she named Skittles, was a gift from her father to her at a young age. It was the only pokemon, besides her Cubone that she would let wander around with her.
Skittles once more pulled at the red sleeve on her arm, which caused for the girl to smile. Pulling her arm away, which caused for the Ponyta to playfully nip at her pants. "Skittles, stop it." The girl said softly, but playfully swatted at the Ponyta's fiery mane.
Looking around, she found what looked to be a quite spot over by a tree, leading Skittles over there, the girl sat down. Skittles however wanted to keep going, and keep playing. As if she was saying 'Visda come on, we can keep going.' Smiling softly, Visda shook her head and stayed seated.
After a while, sleep caught up with Visda, taking her the quiet forest just outside of her home in the Kanto region. Where she first started training with Skittles, and her Wartortle which was a Squirtle back then.

Unknown to the young trainer, she'd made a poor choice of sleeping spot. She'd fallen asleep right atop the resting place of the Nightmare Pokemon. Or so trainers in the region had taken to calling him. He thought the name fit, since he'd been doing nothing but giving them all nightmares. He snorted as he emerged from the ground to stand over the trainer with a glare. He snorted one more before he entered her dreams.
"Fools who dare disturb my slumber must pay."
The voice echoed through the forest as he stomped his hoof. So she dreamed a a forest did she? Time to change that into a forest fire. He let out a loud cry as he reared up and shot a jet of blue fire towards the nearest few trees. Quickly it caught on to the others, and a raging firestorm seemed to erupt. He wanted to hear her scream for help, wanted to see her suffer mentally.
She had no right to be the trainer of one of his kin.
"No right..."

Visda could not be happier, but then things took a turn for the worse. The forest had started on fire, and trapped her so that she could not go anywheres. "SKITTLES!!" She yelled out, hoping that her beloved friend could hear her, and come to her.
But after so long, she still had not seen her friend, and it worried her. A voice sounded, but it was none that she knew. "Skittles! Where are you?" Visda called out again, gray eyes wide with fear or her friend.
Turning, she saw an opening, hoping that it would stay open long enough for her to run out of it. Visda ran towards it, heart pounding, and yet everything seemed to go in slow motion.

He strode through the flames, and probably even a few trees towards her. His blue mane could easily be mistaken for her Ponyta's mane. This of course was his plan. She was unworthy of being a trainer to such a noble fire-type. The prince of the plains, one of the fastes, bravest and smartes pokemon in the world. Ponyta was his first stage of evolution, and he respected them. Especially since he'd grown from one naturally, without the aide of a trainer.
"You are Unworthy of such a noble beast at your side."
His voice was loud and booming, like a thunderclap, and his eyes flickered coldly in the flames as he came into view. He kept moving, the flames around his hooves smarking up more fire with every step he took. He looked every bit the part of the Nightmare Pokemon he was supposed to be, and he wasn't about to let it up.

She saw the blue flames on the Pokemon, not realizing that it was not her Skittles, not her best friend. But once she got close enough, Visda stopped and started to back off. Looking around frantically for her friend, and partern.
"You are Unworthy of such a noble beast at your side."
No, where was Skittles? It made her want to cry out with fear that her friend was that there. "What are you talking about? Where's Skittles? What have you done to her." She cried out, anger and fear in her eyes, and in every movement as she backed up. Not realized that she caught her foot on a rock, causing herself to fall backwards.
Arms flailing out, she landed down hard, not realizing that she had tears in her clothes. All she wanted was Skittles, her best friend.
